I have a new computer and am trying to move my netscape 4.7 address book, bookmarks, sent mails, templates etc. I can't locate any actual files in the netscape folder where all this is located. Can anyone please advise? Many thanks for any assistance.

I don't know about the specific location of your file in a Mac, but I am starting with assumption that Netscape placed the Profile in the general neighborhood of the Netscape program. In PCs there is a Program folder, and an User folder in the same Netscape directory. So, if you can track down an User folder, into which there could be one or more subfolders, with the name of the profile which gets you into Netscape.
You should export (File|Export) the Address Book, while in the Address Book, as a .ldif file. And, in the same backup location, copy the following files:
In your name profile folder:Bookmark.htm
Inbox, Sent and Templates inside the Mail folder|Account name.
THe naming may be different, and I can't help you there. There are a few more files which may want to copy.
