What exactly is likely happen with these third party add-on projects. Are they likely to be
persuaded to have their files hosted at any of the aforementioned sites where applicable?

The Home button is available from the extention room, along with Autoscroll.
I would have been very upset if I had to play games to get any of these essentials.

I can now use 1.7 RC3 (Linux) on my Pentium box, as I was able to fix a problem with footer printing. It was as easy as editing PREFS. JS. :)

Unfortunately, the 1.7 Linux versions (all RC's so far) still crash on secure (https) web pages that contain a Java applet, as long as the Java plugin is available. Without the Java plugin, it does not crash but the applet does not appear.

Great... If that carries over into 1.7 final and Netscape 7.2, I can say good-bye to my webmail access.

I am running SuSE Linux 9.1 Personal here. With SuSE 9.0, Mozilla 1.6 did not crash on similar (https) pages with Java applets.

As it stands now, I do not know if this is a Mozilla or Java issue.
