Mozilla and .wmv

Postby Limppe » Sat 28 Feb, 2004 4:35 pm

Hi !

I have some videoclips in .wmv format on our homepage at job.

I want Mozilla and Netscape users to be able to look at them

How shall I change the settings in the server so the HIMEM code sent with the videoclips would be text/html and not text/plain ?

I´m using Front Page 2000

I don't understand your question about HIMEM codes or text/html vs text/plain but I know that you need to have your server assign the correct mimetype (video/x-ms-wmv) to your .wmv files. Here are some references.

Hello

Thank you so much for your excellent answer! You’re wounderful.
Now the clips work like a dream.

I had to transfer the clips to the server again AFTER the correction. They didn’t work before that.

Thanks !
