Mozillafy Netscape

Can I get Netscape to use Google for searching and translating automatically(via tools menu) like Mozilla?

Yes, there's a preference that you can use to do this in Edit -> Preferences -> Internet Search that lets you specify your default search engine. AFAIK, the Translation feature was removed from Netscape in version 7.0.

Not on french NS 7.1, all I have is "Netscape Recherche" which doesn't work no more.

No, but you can enter a Personal Toolbar item for the Google Website.

Or better yet, download Googlebar for Mozilla. This is a complete but unofficial port of Googlebar for IE to Mozilla.
