Hi,
I have and do not recommend it as it is obsolete not stay with Mozilla.
And this should be in the Communicator and early Netscape Section.
Your bank should update too.
If you need Communicator get 4.79.

What kind of bank is it? I find it hard to believe that it would not accept anything higher, which is also safer. It may not like the fact that you are using Moz1.5, but I have yet to see any place, specifically, requiring an obsolete program.
If you can give me a link to the Bank, nothing personal, please, I ,may be able to figure this out.
I am dealing with several banks, and their only requirement is that you use 128 bit security, and that you don't block popups, sometimes necessary to sign on.

See below the errors on my javascript console (Mozilla 1.5).
Why netscape 7.1 doesn't support the code that Netscape 4.5

It is the website which is at fault. They are working with five years old browsers, which are not used anymore, except for website which do not want to take the time and expense to be up-to-to-date.
I sent them a feedback, and, suggested that they look at creating a website usable with current browsers. I can understand Italian very well, although I had not put anything in writing for many decades.
But, Netscape7.1 is supposed to be following code very strictly, while older Netscapes were not.

Netscape 4.x supported propitiatory stuff that banks use, so therefore Netscape 4.x or IE 5.0+ was generally required. My bank, thankfully, supports Mozilla and other Gecko based browsers.

Lando,
I got a very fast reply to my feedback, and no useful reply. The gave me the hours that they are open, and their phone number(s).
I sense that they did not understand what I meant.
