I use Netscape 4.7 for my email, and address book of course. I can open this program, but it only stays open for a few seconds, then closes on me. Of course, I can't go into it's Preferences and check them, as I can't keep it open long enough. I deleted tons of graphics and stuff from the desk top, hoping that would help. Nope. I do have Netscape 7 that I am forced to use, but I can't seem to send a graphic within an email on 7. I want my 4.7 back...any suggestions on how I can keep it open? And/or why it's closing on me?

Chippy, have you tried re-installing Netscape 4.7 or install Netscape 4.8 for Mac instead?

Yes Antony, I installed 4.8 yesterday and it sits on my desktop waiting for me (or someone) to figure out how to get it working. There is a box called Communicator 4.8 Complete, with 6 items inside. Every time I click on the items they want me to install them, which I have done - a few times. I seem to be going in circles trying to get an email window up from this installation .
Any suggestions would be truly appreciated!

PS - I have a Mac OS 9.2.2
