I'm running into a problem for printing 3 pages of information in Netscape 4.78 and 4.79.

I click on a link and see information displayed. When I click Print Preview, the page displays as 3 printed pages--however, only the 1st page contains data in the tables. Pages 2 and 3 show the HTML formatting, but no data.

Knowing that there are print bugs in the 4.x versions, I'm wondering if this is a browser defect or something we've missed in our code.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is hard to diagnose something without seeing it. It could be the Printer, or poor web page, who knows? Since 4.7x seems to do as well as IE, that may be a case where one can tell that something is really wrong.

The only time I see the problem is when I view the page in Print Preview or print it. All of the information displays on the page when I'm browsing, so I'm not certain it's the webpage itself since the HTML renders fine.

The page prints fine in NS 6.x and above, so I'm also not certain it's the printer. I only run into problems in 4.7x versions.

When NS 4.7x calls a print preview or print command, does it re-load the page? Could information be getting lost on the retrieval and rendering?
