HOW CAN I DO THAT?
THE S.O. PICKS UP NS 7.0 EVERY TIME, EVEN IF I SELECT 4.79 FOR INTERNET.
THANKS TO ALL MIKY
you must have made NS 7.0, and you can see that by going to your preferences/advanced/ system. If HTML documents is picked, it will open in 7.0. Any reason why you want to do it that way? 4.79 is getting outdated, and as such is not as good for the Internet. Of course, NS7.x does not render some pages too well (not its fault) and has been known to have all sort of Mail problem. I have 4.78 as my default browser, and it is used for the Internet, only if I find some links in mail. NS7 and NS 4.78 mind their own business, and except for the fact that NS 4.78 will open in some cases when I do not want it, everything is cool.
Are telling me that you click on the 4.79 shortcut, and 7.x opens? I must be missing something.
