I thought of going back to 4.7 as well ... but am afraid it won't work
with XP ... which I didn't want, but am now use to :/
IE is so open to viruses ... and I have fought it all these years ...
I bought Netscape and received the CD and book. First time I didn't
download it free ... figured it'd be okay since it wasn't a beta.
I did a search to see if they'd put out a patch for this problem ... and
haven't located any.
It's so frustrating
I would try something which may be considered rash. Download a NS7.0 either from this website or DJGM's, and install it a separate folder, with a different profile. I have four copies of NS7.0 on my computer, two in each drive, and they do well. Or a more conservative approach, getting Mozilla 1.01, on which Netscape7 is based. Again new profile.
I am getting a sneaky suspicion that the CD is causing problems.
