7.01 streamline has been working extremely well without a single problem. Installed it and witness its superiority for yourself.

One and only stable, no upgrade or change in the build.

Due to the Macromedia's Flash's Vulnerability Issue, an updated Netscape 7.01 Streamline and Navigator 7.01 Stand-alone are now available.

You don't have to re-download this if you already have Netscape 7.01 Streamline installed. You can just install a new Flash Player from Macromedia.

For me, 7.01 streamline is better, more stable and use less memory. The problem of slow start in 7.0 is gone.

Mail and mailgroup is much much faster as well.

Start upgrade, good improvement.

Welcome Anthony!

Forget to mention, the important improvement is popup blocker for 7.01.

No more annoying ads.

Problems Fixed

Postby Antony » Tue 31 Dec, 2002 11:07 pm

Sorry, There was a problem with Netscape 7.01 Streamline/stand-alone.

Problems
Spell checker were not installed ... fixed
Adding a new mime type error ... fixed

Please note:
(1) This does not apply to Netscape 7.0 Streamline/stand-alone.
(2) if you downloaded the Netscape 7.01 Streamline/stand-alone recently, you can just apply the patch.
To apply the patch, please download it here.
(Save the file to disk, don't open it)
Then copy the file (comm.jar) to
Program Files/Netscape/Netscape 7/chrome
(OR your Netscape 7's chrome folder)

All Netscape 7.01 Streamline/stand-alone are now updated with latest fixes.

Sorry for the trouble, next time I will increase the testing period.
