Netscape 7.1 mail links and 9.0 browzer

Postby kadwilsn » Thu 13 Dec, 2007 4:12 am

I have a huge amount of email resources archived in my 7.1 Communicator and I have been using Netscape 9.0 browzer for a while. When I click on url links in the emails, it brings up Navigator 7.1 which is unstable with XP on my computer. I have been using Wordperfect mail for a little while because of this problem, but Wordperfect mail is inferior.

Can I get Communicator 7.1 (or 7.2) to link to Navigator 9.0? If not, can I transfer my archives intact to another mail client that will work in this way? Thanks

Could a moderator move this to the correct forum? Thanks.

You can't change the fact that Netscape 7.1 mail will open links in the Netscape 7.1 browser. Standalone email clients like Thunderbird can automatically transfer mail and settings from Netscape though.
