Netscape 7.1 on Windows: how can I move my profile folders ?

Postby tutu » Mon 17 Nov, 2003 6:10 am

Hi there,

I'm new to Netscape 7.1 on Windows (formally used netscape 4.72)
Netscape 7.1 correctly converted my profiles, but put them in
C:\Documents and Settings\myName\Application Data\Mozilla
This disk has not many space left, so I'd like my profiles to go to D:\somewhere.

It was very easy with Netscape 4.72 (when creating a new profile, you could ask "put the profile in this directory", and netscape recognized a valid existing profile when I entered D:\somewhere\copyOfAProfile )

I've searched the forum, on google, it seems this feature vanished from Netscape 7.1 (or is well hidden...)

How can I do ?
Thanks
Olivier

Ramona's excellent Netscape Solutions website has information on how to do this.
