Each time I launch Netscape7, the original Netscape screen appears (the one telling me that I have successfully installed NS7).
My earlier customization of the screen (elimination of side
bar, choice of home page, etc.) is gone. How do I save my changes so that they are in place next time I launch?

The problem should not reoccur, after creating a new profile. Just do not try to copy the same troubled files. Try to settle for bookmarks, and Mail Inbox.
