It will not support Firefox themes because the layout is different. (This is also stated on one their release notes pages.)

Glad to see that Netscape is running on multiple platforms again.

Something tells me that their 4MB RAM requirement is just a little bit off.

Windows 98 won't even successfully install with that much RAM.

Just installed Netscape 9

Very good job and certainly a big improvement over Netscape 8

Well, this is certainly a welcome improvement over NS8. I'm actually going to try using this for a while as my main browser. Let's see what it can do.

Although I haven't had much chance to play around with Netscape 9, it seems very Firefox-like, much more so that of the infamous Netscape 8.x series.

Try not to push too hard. I'm glad you like NS 9. Really. But in truth, it's little more than a re-skinned FF with proprietary options that many will not want simply because they are little more than AOL marketing ploys. And the fact that it is built upon FF means that it will always be playing catch-up in terms of patches and security fixes. A few developers cannot possibly hope to keep abreast of an open source app like FF which is open to the public at large. BUT it "is" a definite improvement over NS 8 in terms of being less buggy and that's a good thing. Will it persuade many Firefox users to abandon ship? I seriously doubt that. It will undoubtedly carve out its little niche but I would suspect that this will never be more than a very small percentage of users for the simple reason that it's too late.

The family originated in Baltimore before the Civil War. The story is, that at some point, there were in one generation, twelve brothers, all very prolific. They had many many offspring. There are Mitnicks from Boston, all down the East coast and around to Galveston. Kevin is definitely some kind of cousin. I have never met him.
