If Diggler worked properly with GrayModern, I'd be using it.

Diggler does work with GrayModern. At least it certainly does on
both my PC and Mac with all the OSes I have Mozilla installed on.

If you don't know about the incredibly useful Diggler addon, go to
http://diggler.mozdev.org/ for info and to download and install it.

At the moment it's the nearest you'll get to the old "Mozillium" theme.

Modern-Mozillium is available at themes.mozdev.org . Don't ask me why I replied to such an old thread.

Anyone know of any people who have ported this over to later Netscape/Mozilla releases?

Yes, I know about that old theme being updated and ported to newer versions of Mozilla and Netscape.

In fact, back on 2nd January this year, a member of the MozillaZine forums started this thread asking
if it would be possible to update that theme for current Mozilla builds. The day after that thread was
started over at the MozillaZine forums, I opened up this thread, right here on the SD701 forums.

The first of those original themes from Netscape 6.0 (Mozilla M18) to be brought back was the old
default Modern theme of the time, now called "Venerable Modern". The silvery grey version of that
theme, only known then as "Mozillium" was updated and renamed "Modern-Mozillium" soon after
the re-introduction of the old default Modern theme Modern theme as, "Venerable Modern".

The most up to date versions of these themes can actually be found here, not at mozdev . . .

Only Skypilot in Netscape. I will use any variant of Modern, though. For personal reason, I like the Canadian theme.
I have not succeeded getting anything in 1.7

I would be using Skypilot if it decided to work. It tells me that the 7.1 version that I download was "designed for an earlier version of Netscape 7.1 and is incompatible". The same thing happens with the release for Mozilla 1.4, and through experiment the ones for 1.3 and 1.5... I still use Fog City on my NS6.1 and NS6.2 machines, but can't find it for 7.1 or Moz1.4. If I could, I'd be using it.
