What are the absolute vs. recommended MINIMUM requirements for Netscape 4.8 (base install)?

What about NS 4.08 (Win 3.x) or ... ?

The 'lowest' system I ever installed Netscape v4.08 (or v4.5x and v4.6x for that matter) on was a 486/66 with 16Meg ram. It worked acceptably. Not great, but acceptably. I don't remember what the actual recommended system specs were..that was years ago when it was released.

Mac OS 8.6 and later; Mac OS 9.1 or later highly recommended; Mac OS X 10.x

Linux

The following library versions (or compatible) are required: glibc 2.1, XFree86 3.3.x, GTK 1.2.x, Glib 1.2.x, Libstdc++ 2.9.0. Red Hat Linux 6.2, Debian 2.1, and SuSE 6.2 (or later) installations should work.
Red Hat 6.x users who want to install the Mozilla RPM must have at least version 4.0.2 of rpm installed. There is an official update to rpm from Red Hat.
