Netscape Communicator 4.77: How do I change background color

Postby alexandriaroyal » Sun 21 Jan, 2007 3:36 am

I have Netscape Communicator 4.77 running on my MacIntosh G3 with OS 9.2.2. When sending email messages I would like to change the background color and have it sent with the email.

Thus far I have found under the heading "FORMAT", the ability to select "Colors and Background Image". Having done this I am quite able to change the background color, or even make an image be the background. However when I send the email, the background does not go with it.

Can someone please tell me how to solve this. I am by no means a computer guru so changing html code is not something I have any real knowledge of, unless it is possibly very, very simple. Thank you so much for any help you are able to offer.

Sincerely,

John

I, always, considered colors in Mail as eye candy for the beholder. Even with more modern programs, it is a 50/50 issue. Sometimes, it is the ISP which will not cooperate, sometimes the software doe not. Are you not seeing the colors sending mail to yourself?
