Netscape
* 4.0 CSS support - Crashes browser occasionally, absolutely terrible.
* 4.5-4.70 CSS support - Crashes every so often, terrible.
* Recent 4.x versions (4.74+) - Crashes quite rarely, but very limited, very bad.
You'd think a browser from 1999 could support 1996 standards.
* 6.0 CSS support - Good. Virtually no crashes, very capable, including partial CSS2.
* 6.1-7.1 CSS support - Progressively moves from Very Good to Excellent. Mozilla 1.5's better support for CSS3 makes it even better.
6.1+ is good, 4.x stinks.
http://www.macedition.com/cb. I imagine it was quite annoying that Netscape 4.0x handled the valid code by... crashing.
MacEdition: Netscape Must Die! (2000) then Should Netscape Still Die (around 6.0 release) then Netscape's baaa-aack (6.1.)

Trainable is to cat as ability to live without food is to human.
