Netscape isn't really dead as such. So far, we don't know of AOL's future plans for the Netscape browser
suite beyond the forthcoming release of Netscape 7.2, such as whether any further updates will happen.
Even if AOL decide not to continue with the browser after v7.2, there will still be the

internet service,[/url] plus the
Netscape Network portal and services. Oh, and
that toolbar for IE . . . !
(Here's hoping that Netscape 7.2 isn't left to stagnate like Netscape 7.1 was!)
