Netscape shuts down

Postby sundance » Sat 04 Jan, 2003 1:03 pm

I have a ongoing problem and I have seen this problem in the last 4 or so versions of Netscape, I'm now using 7.0.

When I'm browsing (I mainly notice it when on Ebay) the browser will for no reason just shut down. If the mail client is open it shuts that down as well. I have noticed it mainly on Ebay as I said and can't remember if it does this elsewhere or not.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem or know the fix?

Thanks,

Sundance

Hi sundance

Last 4 versions (?) ...........................
These would include N4x, N6x, N7
How were the "Profiles" moved

For this to occur what is "open" (?) .............................
Browser only, Mail only, Both. Any other apps. always open.

Nescape auto closes clean, or does the computer lock up or hang (?)

Dennis

Hi,
Try reinstalling the browser and check your user settings.
