Sorry, I missed that post.Fulvio wrote:My last post on this thread went into some details of the process.
I wonder that as well.Fulvio wrote:One question is still unanswered. What if I have, already, @aim.com accounts with the same username as @netscape.net? Will the @netscape.net mail be moved to the existing @aim.com? I can see a mess ahead.

* For Netscape Mail users who also have an AOL® Mail account with the same Screen Name, the Netscape Mail service will be upgraded to AOL Mail, not AIM Mail. All Netscape mail will be transferred and placed in folders which will be located under the 'Saved on AOL' section. For AOL Mail users, storage is unlimited. Saved messages however are kept for a limit of up to approximately 27 days.

Partially, I guess Fulvio's problem is he has AIM Mail account, not AOL Mail.Ramona wrote:From the Netscape Mail FAQ:* For Netscape Mail users who also have an AOL® Mail account with the same Screen Name, the Netscape Mail service will be upgraded to AOL Mail, not AIM Mail. Does this help?

. How could mail be sent to an @aol.com account, unless someone made an error? But, if this is the case, it is nice that it gets to you. But, you would have no way to know that it gets to @aol.com. Probably, the username takes precedence. For me, I do not have AOL or AOL Mail account, but emails sent to @aol.com tend to deliver to my @aim.com account as well.

I just tested it again, sending an email to (my screenname)@aol.com and I receive it from (my screenname)@aim.com. It's interesting but kind of annoying as I got quite a few spam.Fulvio wrote:Now, I don't understand it, at all.. How could mail be sent to an @aol.com account, unless someone made an error? Attention Netscape users
Your Netscape mail hasn't gone anywhere, you can find it right here! Also, My.Netscape and your Stock Quotes are still online as well.
