No 3.6.5?

Mozilla confuses me with the numbering.

They have skipped some version number before.

They just frustrate me. Like I never actually know what version of the program I'm using. Is it the latest or the same old thing re-branded?

If you do a Search, you will see all sorts of post from people getting hung up, for what, I think, are non-problems.
As a matter of course, after an update, I check Help|about Mozilla Firefox, so I know what I am using, immediately. Since the mozilla site mentions just Firefox 3.6 updates, one cannot make assumptions.
I tried to something about the non-3.6.5, and came up just a comment, plus a number of posts mentioning that 3.6.5 could not be, completely, installed, but with no documentation (some people don't know how to write!).
Another post implies problems.

Assuming the menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc.) is still there then Click on View>Toolbars> and then click on each of the tool bars so there is a check mark next to each, like so:

I remember that with some Theme, it was possible to, accidentally, click on the far left of the toolbar, and the toolbar would disappear. Although View|Toolbars should allow to recheck the missing toolbar(s), and bring them back, it may happen that it is possible to bring them back by clicking on arrows at the bottom of the toolbar. An active toolbar would have down arrow at the far left.
I have not had such Theme, in ages,, but I remember recreating the problem when I clicked too far at the left.

Unfortunately under Toolbars I unticked all of the toolbars, thinking I could retrieve them again, obviously not!! The only arrow I have around the screen is top right which points down and only gives the displayed page. Left/Right clicks of the mouse do not seem to give any option to recall toolbars, wherever I put the cursor.

Its okay I found it on the Mozilla page. Press the ALT key and the menu bar will come up and then you choose view - toolbar and tick the ones you want. Simple when you know how!!!
Thank you for all the supporting help.
