Apple today unveiled redesigned MacBook. The new MacBook features 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM (up to maximum of 4GB), 250 GB 5400 RPM hard drive (optional 320GB or 500GB 5400-rpm drive), NVIDIA GeForce 320M integrated graphics card, to up 10 hours 'wireless productivity' battery life. The new 13-inch MacBook is priced at only US$999.

The new MacBook comes with following connections and expansions:
MagSafe power port, Gigabit Ethernet port, Mini DisplayPort, Two USB 2.0 ports (up to 480 Mbps), Audio in/out, Kensington lock slot.

The new MacBook is 2.74 cm (1.08 inches) thin and weigh only 2.13 kg (4.7 pounds), slightly thicker and slightly heavier than 13-inch MacBook Pro.

As the new MacBook Air (2011 model) released today with Thunderbolt I/O built-in, Apple seem to have taken the MacBook off the offering. The laptop offerings are now:
11-inch MacBook Air
13-inch MacBook Air
13-inch MacBook Pro
15-inch MacBook Pro
17-inch MacBook Pro
