I purchased Office 98 Small Business a few years ago, and just got myself a new Compaq Notebook that runs Windows XP OS. Can I load Office 98 on it, or will it destroy the whole thing?
Thanks . . .
Michael

Office 98 was a Macintosh release, that'd not work on a Compaq notebook! If you are referring to Office 97 however, sure.. that'd work fine in Windows XP

You are correct, of course. I looked at the case, again, and it is '97.
Thanks for the info, I did not really want to go spend $400 for Office XP.
