Opera 7.20 final has now been released.

I've amended the first post in this thread, rather than create a new thread.

7.20 is also buggy.

Discovered when printing web pages, the headers and footers only print on page 1 of the hardcopy, they do not print on subsequent pages. Inquiry was made, received no response, and when I checked their FTP server for version 7.11 English, a 7.11 directory does not exist, only a 7.11B (beta) directory.

The above problem where 7.20 will not print headers/footers on subsequent pages, has now been reported as a bug.

Even after uninstalling and deleting the Opera7 directory, the problem is still there, even on a new install of 7.20. :(

Alas...another issue.

When 7.20 (for Windows) was uninstalled, the file association for HTML Document, remained unchanged (Opera). When clicking an HTML file, it looked for Opera when it was no longer there.

To fix this, I had to go into IE and click the box to reset IE back to its defaults.

7.21 released

Postby Edward » Tue 14 Oct, 2003 8:49 pm

7.21 Final for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris were released yesterday. Final versions for Linux, FreBSD, and Solaris went from 7.11 right to 7.21, I did not see a 7.20 Final released for these operating systems.

I had several issues with 7.20 for Windows, one of which was the headers/footers not printing on all pages in 7.20 Windows. This problem is also in 7.21, this time for both Linux AND Windows...

I realize Opera is more or less free, if one wants to pay for it and remove the ad banner, that's fine, but they really need to test these versions out THOROUGHLY, before releasing them. 7.21 is coming off this Linux system, as well as on Windows.

On a personal note, I have become thoroughly disgusted with Opera.

Bugs are reported, they eventually release a new version, and the same bugs are still present, now it's on TWO platforms. Do they really care?

Not much if you ask me. I have Opera on two months trial, I also check their forum many times and it looks to me that they live in the world of their own.
