Opera Software has released Opera 7.60 Technical Preview 4 for Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD.

The Windows changelog is here, and the Linux changelog is here.

Both changelogs provide links to the downloads as well as to the announcements in My Opera Community.

The previous thread relating to Technical Preview 3 has been locked.

Fixing Mail Display in 7.60 Preview 4 for Windows

Due to an error in the Windows installer, the wrong CSS files are used for styling message display. This problem does not affect the Unix installer. To fix this issue, do the following:

Close Opera

Find your Opera installation folder (C:\Program Files\Opera 7.60 Beta\ by default)

Open the styles sub-directory

If the filenames have .css extensions:
- Rename mime.css to mime.css.bak and mimehead.css to mimehead.css.bak
- Rename mime7.css to mime.css and mimehead7.css to mimehead.css

If the filenames have no extensions:
- Rename mime to mime.bak and mimehead to mimehead.bak
- Rename mime7 to mime and mimehead7 to mimehead

Restart Opera

Opera Mail messages should now display correctly.

Hi, will any Improvements be made to the Mail Program. I really could use some tweaking. Somthing similar to mozilla mail where you can select the font colors and sizes, stuff like that.....
