I don't think that theme looks like any browser in particular.

It looks like the Royal Inspirat SE2 theme.

It looks like how Internet Explorer 6.05 looked in early Vista/Longhorn builds.

One "problem" I've seen in Opera relates to cookies. I can go to Beliefnet.com or to Yahoo.com and try to log into my account and simply cannot get through. I have cookies enabled... I even try to identify as IE and still...no go. Something like this can really dampen one's enthusiasm for a browser. Any ideas?

C|net News.com has a special report: Happy birthday, Opera--you survived

Opera never generated the buzz of one-time high-fliers like Netscape. But unlike many belonging to the class of 1995, von Tetzchner and Ivarsoy are still at the helm to celebrate their company's 10-year anniversary--and this despite the challenges of surviving the Internet bust, a global IT recession and, of course, Microsoft.

Marketing mavens around the world should take note: Boring sometimes can be better, especially when the market leader treats its users with benign neglect.

Surviving 10 years is not easy. SillyDog701's Netscape Browser Archive recently celebrated its six-year anniversary.

Good question. I am happy to say that the free registration codes DO work with Opera 7.54 on Linux. I am also curious to know how far back, version-wise, that the registration codes work. I can't test it on my previous versions of Opera since they were already previously registered (and I do not have those codes handy at the moment in the event that I mess it up.)

Anyone care to try registering previous versions with the free codes?
