Is it possible to switch the tools bars,I want to have the back and forward
and rewind buttons at the top instead of the bottom. and then have the open save and so on at the top.

It certainly is possible.

Right-click the toolbar, and select Customize. In the window that appears, there will be a pull-down menu next to Placement. Change that item to Bottom and click OK. The toolbar will now be at the bottom of the screen. When Opera is closed then relaunched, the toolbar will remain at the bottom. This can be changed between Top, Bottom, Left, Right, and Off.

There is not much customizing that one can do. And, Mail is still a puzzle to me. I have one account set up, I was pointed to the prefs.js, which worked, But any messages? No sign of life. One webmail account is set up, but there is nothing in my pop account. And, two Local folders? I, obviously don't know what I am doing.
My mail was working fine in Opera8, beta3. Will see

prefs.js? Local Folders?? Are you sure you're not talking about Mozilla?
