Opera Software has released Opera 9.22 on 19th July. The update to the Opera Web browser is a security maintenances release and bug fixes.

In a not so distant future, there will be a weekly preview release of Opera 9.5 (codename Kestrel), and according to Opera Desktop Team, the Mac version will contain some interesting Mac-specified features such as VoiceOver support, Optimizations and improved confinement to Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

Users can download Opera 9.22 from Opera Software website.

9.23 is out

Postby Fulvio » Tue 21 Aug, 2007 8:27 pm

I, just, download Opera9.23 from download.com. Will report, if needed.

I am editing from Opera9.23. One mystery has always been Opera Mail. I had set up one account, and it was fine. I set up a second account, and I am wondering:
1.Being a Netscape/Mozilla/Thunderbird user, I like to keep my accounts separate. Having nearly ten accounts, I would not bother setting them up in Opera if everything is together.
Any setting which I miissed?
2. All message are "descending". The oldest on top. I want them the other way. New one on top.
3. Is it necessary to compact folders like in other mail programs?
I will have to do some looking around. Opera is fine, but a little strange to me.

Edward, have you ever raised this issue on the Opera Community forums?

Yes, two years ago.

The last information I received was that it may have something to do with an aspect raio involving the A4 paper size that Opera defaults to. Changing the paper size in Opera doesn't affect this aspect ratio and may be the cause of the problem.

This has now been reported as a bug to Opera.

If there were some file that has this aspect ratio setting inside it, I would think it could easily be changed.
