Opera Cache Folder System

Postby FrankoSport » Tue 15 Jun, 2010 2:03 pm

Greetings from an Opera 10.51 User ....

UPDATE - I've Learned The Process: Tools-Advanced-Cache

What is up with recent versions (10 and higher, I believe) of Opera in-so-far-as the Cache Folder System is concerned? In pre-10 versions, you usually had just one cache folder, where you could locate certain items (such as FLV's and MP4's) and copy-save them to another location. Now with Opera-10 (10.51 my latest), I have discovered there are multiple cache folders, with seemingly none of them having the files I'm trying to find.

It should be said that I use Opera very rarely, so I haven't gone thru all of its features. Is there one that allows you to directly access the current cache and extract files? If so, I'd like to know how to locate and use the feature.

Thanx-A-Lot, Frank-0-Sport

How do you change the column width of the view of the cache? I tried experimenting with it, but the only thing I managed to do was turn off the bold font setting so at least it allowed a few more characters.
