You will see more and more people download Opera, especially with the news that Netscape's browser is almost down for the count. Personally, I prefer Opera over Mozilla, but do keep both them (as well as MSN's 8.0 and Internet Explorer 6) in my PC. Opera does remind me of Netscape 4 in some ways: 1)It does not crash on my Win XP (Internet Explorer crashes from time to time). Internet Explorer also crashed with my Windows 95 and 98. Netscape Communicator back in those days was crashfree; and 2)Netscape came with these neat bookmarks when I first used it in 1997. When I look at Opera's bookmarks, it has all these neat places to surf to.
So....while I do sub to AOL and MSN, guess what browser I am using the most now? It sure isnt Internet Explorer. By the way, you may ask why I sub to two of the subpar OSPs out there, when there are so many local ISPs out there? Simple. I prefer the national ones. I have had subs to local ISPs, but havent had any such good luck with them. One of them ran out of town like the Baltimore Colts did in 1984 and only left one hours notice of their leaving.
