I was curious is there any way to get older versions of OS X Tiger?

My assumption is ebay is the way to go, but I was wondering if there was a more reliable way? When I bought Panther on ebay I thought I was getting 10.3.4 and got 10.3.5, it didn't matter, but I thought it did at the time of purchase. I need OS X 10.4.8 as I'm told it's the last version that supports some hardware I have completely and bug free.

Are you looking for Mac OS X 10.4.0? I don't think there's much point of getting so.

However, since Apple reduced the package size of Mac OS X, version 10.4.0 is only available in original 'larger' box.

Also, please note, you can't install Mac OS X version that is older than the one that comes with the hardware.

And make sure you don't buy the OS X that came with hardware, as it is tied to the specified hardware.

The latest version in 'Tiger' is 10.4.9 now.
