OWA & ISA

Postby tgrzelak » Thu 10 Jul, 2003 1:18 am

Hi!

I've got a problem with publishing Outlook Web Access within the ISA server. In my LAN OWA works fine but I have not managed to configure external mail access by IE, When I enter the proper address and IE connects, a user authentication dialog appears; I log on next, and after that the user's OWA site is shown, but with no user's mails and folders, but with the infinite info "Opening..."

The problem is in the authentication probably, because I've traced out several tcp packets coming from the Exchange 2000 server, and telling "Access denied". But there is no possibility that I have entered wrong user or password in the log on dialog. I think the problem is in the authentication data redirection by the ISA server to the exchange server in the LAN.

Has anyone had the problem and managed to solve it?

Help, please!

Do you use a Firewall. Norton Security is known to give problems.

I use neither Norton nor any other firewall but ISA. The ISA server is the firewall. It awaits specified connections from the internet, and redirects them to the exchange server. Well, it should in theory...
I read in help that the ISA server does not redirect user authentication data when proxy is used, so I configured the HTTP redirector to not use the proxy but redirect a user request directly to the exchange server - it did not changed anything.
I am out of ideas now... :(

Give me some, please! :)
