Hello,

So, it's the end of the year. I make a new folder on my mail mail (Comcast) and call it Archive 10_B and I put all the messages in there from the last half of the year. As I was doing this, I noticed some unread emails that came in from the year 1967. I did not open them, just deleted them then emptied the trash. Now, every message in that folder has a paperclip beside it! And when I go to the other folders that I know have attachments and click to sort by attachments, they all disappear!

Wondering if I should select a restore point and put everything back.

Anyone heard of this?

Is it all that you do? Don't you compact your folders?
If you don't compact them, they will remain in the background. But, otherwise, I have no idea why they would all have what appears to be attachments. Of course, all mail will have an attachment, as I scan it with my antivirus, which adds an attachment. I have never sorted by attachments.

Oh no, I squish those folders down to the size of a postage stamp!

Everything seems to be ok and thanks for line about the antivirus program. I think that might be it.
