parted for osx

Postby kooshti » Thu 13 Jan, 2005 6:17 pm

does anyone know of a partition utility (GPL) for Mac osX that allows you to resize partions without data loss?

I tried to install 'parted' but found that "only Linux and gnu are supported".

I looked at iPartition and that would do the job but I'm wondering if there is something out there that's Freeware.

cheers

I don't think I know any GPLed partition tool for OS X.

The built-in one provided by OS X would reformat your harddisk.
You can try iPartition or VolumeWorks
