Pets?

I was just wondering if anyone here at SD701 has any pets?

I used to have a Guinea Pig (Toffee) but sadly she died back in 2001. I only had her for just under 1 year before she passed away.

I am thinking of getting a Kitten (Cat), Puppy (Dog) or maybe even a Rabbit (Bunny). Does anyone know if it is very hard to look after them?

I have 2 hermit crabbs a cat a dog and a 2 birds. I dont know what kind of birds I have, just birds.

I have 6 cats, 1 dog, 1 horse, 150 cows, 2 bulls, and a army of mice. :lol:

Are you sure the collective name for a group of mice is called "army"?
I thought "army" was used in an army of ants.

I believe it is called
a nest of mice, a colony of mice, OR a harvest of mice.

Go to the local animal rescue shelter, and tell them what you are looking for. I'm sure they will be able to offer advice and suggestions.

From my own personal exprerience, it is MUCH EASIER having a cat as a pet.

I've had Mindy for 8 years now, she's a wonderful cat. :)

You need more cats :-)

Not the proper way of saying. However, I am sure it should be "an army" if you insist on using the word "army".

the only bad thing is, most mice aren't around in the winter and you need to feed the cats, and at $15 CDN for a bag of cat food that's expensive!!

You have to feed cats all year round, not just winter.

My cats catch birds and mice, but don't eat them. They have their expensive cat food, but they prefer my sandwich fish and cooked meal.

Cats

I saw if my cat could tell the difference between good meat and bad meat (mcdonalds) Well i sat a half a steak on the table and put a Mcdonalds hamburger on top. The cat kicked the hamburger off and ate the steak and never came back for the hamburger. Sad when a cat wont eat the same meat humans eat

No mcdonalds

That was just to see what how the cat would respond. I actually feed my cat friskies dry and 9 live wet catfood twice a day.
