I'll wait for 0.3 personally.

28.8k doesn't lend itself to downloads...

Phoenix?

Not sure of the rationale behind "Phoenix"-unless Netscape eventually want a zippy little app. to go on handhelds? I think that Opera are looking to that eventuality. :?:

Phoenix is a lightweight, unbloated, Windows/Linux-optimized web browser. It has some great features and UI ideas (I don't like all of them though) most to the credit of Blake Ross.

I think that Phoenix is looking at programs like k-meleon( are they alive?). Rather light, and no mail.
I have no problem with the downloads, but a 0.5 or 0.6 would be a good version to look for.

K-Meleon is indeed alive. I've tried some of the recent betas floated aroumd on the dev list and they are very good.

Back to original topic, I'm playing with the latest phoenix nightly at a mate's place (233MHz Cyrix CPU, 224MB RAM, Mandrake 8.1), and it's quite snappy...

Phoenixing from school...oh yeah. 8)

It's actually kinda slow...glad I didn't download N7 or Mozilla. They are old NT early Pentium-II systems though.
