Hi,
I would like to suggest that you do the activation of Netscape.
Netscape/AOL needs to see them in order to keep bringing this very nice browser to us called Netscape. Everyone here would like to see Netscape to have new versions and continued to be developed for many years to come.
I highly recommend you do it.
It will be helpful.
You can ignore the Netscape webmail account by simply not using it.

How far does one have to go into the activation to be valid. I want to set up Webmail, and, when I set it up I had to hit Cancel at the end. I got my webmail accounts working nicely. Is that a complete activation.
I don't know what AOL, really, thinks about it, if anything at all, but the activation is silly, because it does not represent the number of people wanting the program. For a variety of reasons, I had to uninstall/reinstall 7.1 at least a dozen of times. Do I get 12 votes? If it works, I will do it daily!

This thread is actually not necessary, as Ramona posted [sdp=3847]Jay Garcia's plea to Register[/sdp] in November 2002, and DJGM made [sdt=788]For the sake of Netscape[/sdt] post 3 days after Ramona's post.

That's all back to 2002 when Netscape 7.01 was just about to be out.

Now, back to SillyDog701.
SillyDog701 has been around for so many years, with Netscape Browser Archive for more than 5 years. We know we've done a better job in keeping Netscape alive than AOL itself. We also keep all messages in current message board, even the old forum is still available archive purpose.
SillyDog701 strive to provide the best to our users. If there's any things we can improve, please let us know to improve the service.
