Politicians

Paul Martin, Stephen Harper and Jack Layton were all on a plane together.

They decided not to talk about the election on their flight.

Paul Martin while looking out the window, said:"I wish I could throw a $1000. bill out and make someone very happy.

Stephen Harper said:" I wish I could throw 10 - $100. dollar bills out and make 10 people very happy.

Jack Layton said:"I wish I could throw 100 - $10.00 bills out and make a hundred people very happy.

The Pilot and co-Pilot overheard them, and the Pilot said to the co-Pilot, "I wish I could throw those 3 a$$holes out, and make 32,000 people very happy."

In case you didn't hear the results,
Stephen Harper, Progressive Conservative Leader, won with a Minority Government. 124 seats

Liberals came in second with 103 seats and the Prime Minister, Paul Martin is Liberal and will keep his seat.
He gave his resignation to the Governor General
today.

Jack Layton, NDP Leader, won 29 seats, I believe.

Gilles Duceppe, Bloc Quebecois leader won 51 seats.

Well, it's still called PC in Quebec as far as I know.
I saw it in the local free French journal referred to as PC,

and by the way, I wrote:

and the pilot said:
make 32,000 people happy, I should have written,
32,000,000 people happy

sorry about that, that's what happens with a silent keyboard.

Al is correct, the web site is "Conservative Party of Canada".

It will be interesting to see what they can accomplish (if anything at all) with a minority government. News web sites I read the day after the election, had people predicting new elections again within the next 10-18 months...

Conservative minorities don't last long, the longest was about 7 months.

Perhaps before!!! :)

In Quebec, on English local radio stations they still
refer it as the PC party.
We all know the reason for that and the person who was advising the PC Candidate for PM. don't we??
