I'M GLAD TO SEE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH A BROKEN CAPS LOCK KEY.
If you can't find the authorization code that you got when you purchased Pro Tools 6.4, I'd advise that you contact Digidesign by phone or e-mail, and explain your situation. If you registered your copy of Pro Tools, or if you bought straight from Digi, then I'd bet they have your license key on file, or they might be able to give you a new one if you can confirm that you bought Pro Tools.
I'd advise that you stick with a fresh install of Pro Tools 6.4, since from what I gather, when you tried to upgrade to 6.7, Pro Tools detected that you were using a license key from an older version of the app and didn't accept it. I think that Digi charges for each additional update to the Pro Tools software, thus your license incompatibility.
