Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040219

Wellander,
This is what I got from 1.7a. It looks ok to me. My i.7b looks fine, but there does not seem to be anything special to be considered user agent spoofing .
What OS are you using?
As for djv1, I have no idea what it is.

And then there's the ; ; part after Windows. That's the security setting (high, low, none) and it's never supposed to be blank. Something's gone bizarre on your system, Wellander. The locale information, also missing, is picked up from the application directory, somewhere in the chrome subdirectory, after the magic of half a dozen levels of indirection.

Your app would seem to be damaged, at least in its locale settings. I don't know how you could be missing the security indicator. Both could be victims of preferences overrides. You don't happen to have any general.useragent preferences set?

It indicates Windows running on x86 computers. It did not say Windows XP, just did not specify which version of Windows it's running.

Do you have 1.7b installed? Or are you working out of the unzipped file?
Whatever ays you have, it may be a candidate for uninstalling, and reinstalling. You won't lose anything. And, if installed delete its Gre folder, before reinstalling.

Will be installing Moz 1.6 or 1.7b next day or two. Will bug cause any connection problems (any site on web) if UA is not presented correctly to the site server?
