My son keeps receiving error messages that prevent adblock plus from installing on his computer.



Any ideas? He has the latest (not beta) version of Firefox on his Mac.

Tell your son to download the .xpi from here:

http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla ... +tb+fn.xpi

Then, save it to is desktop. And open it in Firefox using File>Open.

It should then install.

That error means that firefox was having trouble authenticating with the server. It might have something to do with his ISP or DNS. Don't know, but installing it locally should help.
