Profiles in N7

Postby dbwill » Tue 29 Oct, 2002 6:52 pm

I have two computers in the home. One is a desktop in the upstaris office, the other is a loaptop that is in the family room by my chair. I take the lap top when I travel. My trips can be as long as three months.

At the current time, I am using the mail services with N4.7 because I can keep the profile on the desktop computer, but transfer it to the laptop for travel. When I return I can copy the profile to the desktop and I have all my mail all the time.

Is there a way to do something similar with N7? I would like to be able to take N4.7 off the computer as I am finding more and more sites that won't work properly with it. OR, is just the mail portion of the program available?

Thanks for any ideas and/or solutions

Don

Yes, you can transfer your Netscape 7 profiles as well. But there is no "Sync" feature built in.

Please see:

Netscape 7 Profile Locations
You might also want to back up your Netscape Mails
