Read Receipt Problem

Hi all,

I have a problem that has just turned up. I needed to know for sure that
an email I sent was received by those I had sent to. I went to edit>preferences>mail&newsgroups>return receipts. I clicked that I wanted to ask for a return receipt when I sent messages. That all went fine. After that I went back into mail & newsgroups and unticked the box that asked for a return receipt. I clicked o.k. and exited out. However, it still asks for return receipts for anything I send out. I have gone back in double checked the box isn't checked and I have shut down Communicator and Netscape and restarted them, only to find that it still is requesting a receipt. Is there something else that I need to do? Thanks in advance,

Hello Joan,

Try composing an email,
click "Options" on the toolbar, you should see something like:

And make sure "Return Receipt" is not selected.

Try sending one out, and Quit Netscape. I hope this would save the preference.
