Five years ago today one of my best friends died at the World Trade Center. I think of him every day. On this day a little more. I find myself wishing we'd spent more time together, wishing I'd said this or that. I find myself thinking I shouldn't have moved away for the three years I did, because we wouldn't have lost that time. I will always remember the time we spent when I got back about a year before he died when he said, "it's as if you were never gone."
Bottom line: If there are people you care about, tell them. If there are people you don't call enough, call them. If you miss someone, find them. You never know what may happen and you'll regret not doing it when you had the chance.

I miss him so...
