REmoving lindows from my laptop

I have a laptop IBM thinkpad and it has lindows operating system on it I want to remove it and just install windows can anybody walk me through removing it PLEASE help

Put your Windows CD in the CD/DVD drive, start up the computer. Run the Windows setup from the CD and format the drive. Let Windows install then install the latest drivers etc.
