Restore Splash Screen on Seamonkey 2.5/2.X

Hi everybody ^^
this is my first message (but dont see welcome thread to present me )

I have one question about Seamonkey, since version 2.0 i belive , splashscreen has been removed/desactivated.
My goal is to reactive this on version 2.5 .

I tried with extenssion "splash" (added on SM by adding Seamonkey on install.Rtf file )
but when configured, splash screen doesnt appear.

Have you any tips for ?

(sry for bad english this is not my main language.)

Thanks , i made all who is written on Readme, but when launch, no splashscreen X.x .

Ah... okay. Someone else mentioned that you are posting "Up" to bump the older post into current view again. Probably (a guess) you are not receiving any help because most don't have any interest in the topic. After all... Netscape is long dead and by many long forgotten. It's just not on the radar screen of most people anymore. But hopefully you will receive an answer that gives you something to work with soon. Sorry I couldn't be of help.

Scroll down to the SeaMonkey section. Use the search box for [ splash screen ].

The SeaMonkey splash screen was removed some time ago. There was a posting online somewhere about the reasons behind it.
