return key not working

Postby shoutsign » Sun 16 May, 2004 3:42 pm

I just installed Netscape 7 for Mac OS9. I finally got the go button to appear by wading through the forums but have been unsuccessful in finding how to type in a url and go to site by simply hitting the return/enter key. Can any one throw some light on this?
Thanks

I rarely use Mac OS 9.x these days, and have never experienced the problem you described.
There is however, a workaround. Simply put the "Go" button on the Netscape Location Bar.

This screengrab of the Preferences for Mozilla 1.6 illustrates the workaround . . .

The "Go" button on Netscape 7.x and Mozilla works just like the "Go" button in IE.

Hope that helps in some way . . .

Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!
