Apple have released version 1.2 of their Safari web browser . . .
Not good news:
You must have Mac OS X 10.3.x (Panther) to be able to install the new version.
If you still have Mac OS X 10.2.x (Jaguar) you'll have to stick with Safari 1.0 . . .
Now that ain't fair! I'd to update to the latest version of Safari, but I ain't paying
out £99 to upgrade the OS, just to update the browser! Being forced to buy a
full OS upgrade, in order to be able to use the latest version of the browser
is very Microsoftesque. Why is Apple copying Microsoft in this respect?
