Saving e-mails to a CD

Postby corina » Sat 10 May, 2003 12:18 am

I would like to clean out my Outlook Express Inbox, Sent, and Deleted list by copying all the e-mails in them to a CD. But on my C drive directory, I cannot find any folder in which these e-mails are listed.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to go about doing this?

Corina,
you need to save the .dbx files, which you should find in Program Files/Outlook Express.
There are many excellent programs to back up OE files. I have a reference to a freeware, but I know nothing about it. Try it, on a special folder so that you know that it will work http://windowsnt.about.com/cs/utilities2/
